FindingFreedom is free to use and always will be. We're funded by voluntary donations — there are no subscriptions, no premium tiers, and no paywalls.
By using FindingFreedom, you agree to use it honestly. This tool only works if you're genuine about wanting accountability. Please don't try to circumvent or disable it — doing so defeats the purpose and will alert your allies.
You must be 18 or older to create an account. If you are between 13 and 17, you may use FindingFreedom only with the explicit consent of a parent or legal guardian, who must review and agree to these terms on your behalf.
By installing FindingFreedom, you consent to the monitoring activities described in our Privacy Policy — including the detection of explicit content on your screen, capture of blurred screenshots when such content is detected, and notification of your designated accountability allies. If you are a minor, your parent or guardian must provide this consent.
When you add someone as an accountability ally, you are explicitly authorizing them to receive alerts and reports about your device activity. Your ally will be notified when the app detects explicit content, when you reset your streak, and on other significant events.
Choose allies you trust. You can remove an ally at any time from your dashboard. Allies can also remove themselves from your account by contacting us.
FindingFreedom is provided "as is." We do our best to keep it working well, but we can't guarantee it will catch every instance of explicit content or that alerts will always be delivered. This tool is meant to support your journey — not replace human accountability, community, or professional help if you need it.
If we make significant changes to these terms, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and — if we have your email — send you a heads-up. Continuing to use FindingFreedom after changes means you accept the updated terms.
